Wedding dress try-on: narrow it down before the appointment

Bridal shops usually need an appointment and you can only try a handful of dresses per visit. If you have a folder of saved wedding dress photos but no idea which neckline or silhouette suits you, try them in Wear.AI first: upload a portrait, upload the dress, and see roughly how it looks on you.

The same works for travel wedding shoots: see the looks before deciding which ones to pack.

Using try-ons to narrow your list

  • Compare necklines first: strapless, V-neck, off-shoulder and high neck affect your face and shoulders the most.
  • Then compare silhouettes: A-line, mermaid and long train only show properly on a full-length portrait.
  • Use front-facing dress images that show the whole gown. A cropped hem will come out cropped.
  • Chinese wedding wear such as xiuhe can be tried the same way; see the hanfu page.

Where the dress image can come from

  • Sample photos from bridal shops and designers
  • Wedding photos saved on social media
  • Looks from travel-shoot studios

Three steps

  1. Upload the garment you want to try
  2. Pick your own portrait
  3. Generate, swipe to compare, save the one you like

There is no wedding-dress example on this page. Upload a photo of the dress you like to see it on yourself. Results are a preview only; size and fit need a real fitting.

FAQ

Can I use a full wedding photo as the dress image?

Yes, an on-model photo works. The more complete and front-facing the dress is, the better the result.

Will my photos be used to train AI?

No. Your photos are not used to train any AI model, or for anything beyond generating the try-on you asked for.

Can I use the result as my wedding photo?

AI results are meant for choosing and creative expression and can differ from the real thing. For actual wedding photos we recommend a real shoot.
